Ali Peker, PhD has over 25 years of experience in IoT, mobile, and location-based services. Starting as a software designer at Nortel, he rose to become a co-founder and later CEO of Infotech, whose platforms are used by thousands of companies in six countries. He holds BSc., MSc., and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Engineering. His Ph.D. thesis, titled “Digital Map and GNSS Fusion to Enhance Localization for Intelligent Vehicle Applications,” focused on enhancing vehicle localization through digital maps and GNSS. Together with his five partners, he founded ADASTEC Corp., an automated driving software company for public transportation, which was established in San Francisco, USA, and is currently headquartered in East Lansing, Michigan. He currently serves as CEO of ADASTEC. His research interests focus on location-based technologies, artificial intelligence, and autonomous vehicles.
