Originating from research at the University of Michigan, PREACT has undergone seven years of development, real-vehicle human-subject testing, and collaboration with automotive industry partners. Testing has demonstrated approximately a 40% average reduction in reported carsickness intensity.
Motion Sync is commercializing PREACT through automotive partnerships and seating-system integration. Its portfolio includes the PREACT Haptic Seat, which uses directional vibration cues to communicate upcoming vehicle motion, and the PREACT Active Seat, which proactively adjusts passenger posture through controlled roll and pitch motion. Motion Sync is seeking OEM, Tier 1, supplier, and development partners.
